Quail Botanical Gardens has a wonderful opportunity to expand onto 4 ½ acres of undeveloped property along its northern border. The first phase of this growth plan is a place where children and families can enjoy the outdoors and experience the wonder of being close to nature—a Children’s Garden. Through thoughtful design and creative programming, the new Hamilton Children’s Garden will provide a nurturing environment for children and families to explore the natural world.

The new Hamilton Children’s Garden will offer many new educational opportunities and natural experiences for all to enjoy! Construction began in May 2008 and is scheduled for completion in early summer of 2009. Due to the efforts of many dedicated individuals who have contributed their time, talents, and funding to this important and exciting project, we are pleased to announce that we have surpassed our original fundraising goal for the first phase of this expansion. However, there are still commemorative naming opportunities available, and additional funds raised will be used to enrich the first phase exhibits and/or include exhibits that were originally thought to be part of the second phase of development. It’s not too late to own a piece of the Hamilton Children’s Garden!
