HAMILTON CHILDREN’S GARDEN
MOUNTAIN MEANDER
COME GROW WITH US!

MOUNTAIN MEANDER - $250,000 naming opportunity
This garden has a mountain to climb and we have taken advantage of it. Follow the winding path up the mountain in and out of both tropical forests and native plantings. Discover what and who lives on the mountain. The mountain stream allows the children to experiment with water by offering a splash area.

Opportunities within MOUNTAIN MEANDER

Susan and Bill Hoehn Mountain Stream

Get your feet wet in this mountain stream. Look under the stones, build a dam, and see what it takes to change the flow of water.

Foot Path - $25,000 naming opportunity
Get off the main path and have a short hike through the forest. This narrow path gets you right up close to the plants.

Tropical Surround - $75,000 naming opportunity
A tropical rest area. Just outside the Tree House, this resting area will be cool and shaded even on the hottest summer day.

WHERE WE ARE NOW

September 2008

In the images below, colored concrete is being used to texture the Shotcrete wall supporting the lower mountain meander walkway, below the stream. The texture includes hardwood roots and rocks, strategically placed to give an eroded earth bank appearance. This is the first step to the finish texture, to be followed by painting, staining, and planting.
