HAMILTON CHILDREN’S GARDEN
AMAZING SUNDIAL GARDEN
COME GROW WITH US!

AMAZING SUNDIAL - $200,000 naming opportunity
Two timeless garden joys, mazes and sundials, are featured in this themed area. A winding path garden maze is made with low plantings and an interactive sundial at the center. This garden area also includes other elements for the younger children and those young at heart.

Sundials date back to 3500 BC and 1500 BC in Ancient Egypt and Babylon and are a great addition to any modern garden. An adult and child interactive modern sundial is located at the center of the tall grass maze. The sundial works by the child or adult casting their shadow onto the sundial to reveal the time. This is a great tool to get young children talking about time and older children discussing the change in society with ancient versus modern inventions.

The Edward B. Evans and Ruth Todd Evans Family Foundation Sundial Maze
A garden would not be complete without a maze. Children and adults can follow the sandy path edged with tall grasses around a complex twisting path, and discover the interactive sundial at the center.
