Gala in the Gardens is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it's one of the most enjoyable party experiences in all of San Diego County. In fact, our Gala was included in San Diego Magazine's "Top 10 plus 10 Best Parties for 2007."

Please join Chairperson René van Rems, floral designer and friend of Quail Botanical Gardens, at this year's Gala in the Gardens, a spectacular party with an anticipated 500+ guests -- Saturday, September 13th, 2008 at 5:30 p.m.

Be sure to mark your calendars and support the Gardens as we play on the theme, Plant It Forward and fundraise (and "friend-raise") now to nourish and grow our future. Plan to stroll through the Gardens at twilight while enjoying various themed musical accompaniments, sipping your favorite beverage, sampling cuisine from your favorite local chefs, and participating in the excitement of a silent and live auction. The evening's program will include the presentation of the Paul Ecke, Jr. Award of Excellence to past Quail Botanical Gardens board member and current president of the San Diego Horticultural Society; Susi Torre-Bueno. In fact, Susi was one of the original and most outspoken proponents of the pursuit of a children's garden and helped lay the early ground work for this Quail Botanical Gardens' endeavor.

Ticket prices for the evening are $165 per person and can be purchased here. The party is unique and often described as "many-parties-in-one" as over 25 different food and beverage stations are decorated by professional floral designers and strategically placed within the meandering Garden trails.
